Own your day.
Block by block.

TimeBlocks is a small Windows timer that turns your day into clear blocks of work. Plan the day in the morning, focus on one block at a time, and finish knowing exactly where your hours went.

No account. No cloud. Your data stays on your PC.

Three steps. No learning curve.

01

Name your blocks

In the morning, split your day into named chunks — “Deep Work”, “Emails”, “Gym”. Give each a length. That’s the whole plan.

02

Focus on one

Start the timer on the current block and do only that until it rings. Short Pomodoro-style sprints keep it sustainable.

03

See the truth

At day’s end, TimeBlocks shows planned vs. actual for every block. You’ll see exactly where the day really went.

Two simple ideas that work.

Time blocking

Instead of a to-do list that never ends, you assign every hour a job. When 10:00 says “Writing”, you write. Decisions are made once, in the morning — not fifty times during the day.

Pomodoro

Work in short, timed sprints — usually 25 minutes — then take a real break. A ticking timer makes starting easy, and breaks keep your brain sharp for the next sprint.

Planned vs. actual, every evening.

TimeBlocks logs what you planned against what you actually did — per block, per day. Over weeks, the pattern is undeniable: you’ll spot the hours that quietly disappear.

How to download and use

  1. Install from the Microsoft Store, or download TimeBlocks-Setup.exe.
  2. Open it. The wizard is titled Setup - TimeBlocks. It installs for your Windows user and does not ask you to pick a folder.
  3. If Windows says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway. The installer is not code-signed yet.
  4. Leave Pin TimeBlocks to the taskbar checked if you want it one click away, then finish. Setup opens TimeBlocks.
  5. Press Day. Type a block name, set the planned minutes, and press Add.
  6. Press Start. When focus ends, the break starts on its own. Day shows the log and the planned versus actual report. Hide keeps it in the tray.
